As a proud sponsor of Toronto’s @duskdances Festival, and unabashed foodies, DNA recently hosted ‘Dinner at Dusk’ – an evening of culinary and cultural delight. As a show of appreciation for our clients and suppliers, all were invited to enjoy delicious picnic meals catered by Bashir Munye of My Little Dumplings @MyDumplingsTO, followed by the evocative performances of the ‘Dusk Dancers”.
We take great pride in the company we keep, and so it was a truly an honour that so many of our colleagues chose to spend their free time with us. For those who couldn’t make it or haven’t heard of Dusk Dances, they are a non-profit organization that brings high-end dance to everyday people by performing in public parks. Since 2010, DNA has had the pleasure of working with the organization to help elevate their profile and generate increased audience numbers and donations. To learn more, check out the ‘WORK’ section on our website dakisdna.com, or visit duskdances.ca. Or better yet, find out which park they’ll be at next and go see them for yourself. Once again, we’d like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the great weather and support a great cause. Below are some shots from the evening, and kind words from some of our guests. “Thank you both so much for including us in a fun and entertaining evening last night! The picnic was delicious and it was great to meet and mingle with your friendly clients. I also enjoyed moving in a big wave with the exuberant crowd to the various dance performances – a unique Toronto experience that I haven’t had in a long. I loved the variety of dances and really wish I could have attended on more evenings…next year for sure. And I also plan to visit ‘Mr. Little Dumpling’ at the Brickworks really soon. Gotta taste those dumplings!”
