For those who may not be familiar, Diwali is a Hindu festival celebrated in many corners of the world, including here in the GTA. This year the five day ‘Festival of Lights’ officially starts on November 3, and for the second consecutive year DNA is proud to have been a part of the Trillium Health Partners Foundation gala event known as Trillium Diwali. This annual event not only serves as a holiday primer for the GTA’s South Asian community, it’s also the Foundation’s marquee fundraising event in support of Cardiac Care at Trillium Health Partners. As a creative partner and event sponsor, DNA is proud to be associated with such an exciting event, and to work with the outstanding team at Trillium Health Partners Foundation. This year’s theme was ‘The Golden Night’, and with more than 1,000 guests in attendance the evening was a shining example of Bollywood style. With great food, great dancing and a bounty of bright colours – it was a feast for the senses.
Cultural diversity in the GTA is one of it’s greatest treasures, and this annual event proves that our South Asian community is one of it’s most precious jewels. Happy Diwali everyone!
