1. Favourite thing to do on a weekend:
“I really enjoy being decadent and sleeping in till 10am since during the week we are up so early. I start my day with Maria’s latte. I swear if she were to choose a different career path, she would make a great barista! Then I enjoy reading interior design magazines and Pinterest.”
2. Favourite thing to do at home:
“LA DOLCE FAR NIENTE! (the sweet art of doing nothing).”
3. Favourite snack:
“Rum balls from Nova Era Bakery in Little Portugal. I’m a chocoholic and I just go nuts over these!”
4. Favourite beverage:
“In cold weather Maria’s latte and in the summer her ice cold latte.”
5. Favourite movie or TV show:
“For television shows, it’s a toss up between The Blacklist and Game of Thrones.
My favourite movie is One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, an all-star cast at the beginning of their careers and such a spiritual, inspirational movie. My favourite martial arts movie is Bruce Lee’s Enter the Dragon. I have seen it so many times it is the only movie I know all the lines!”
6. Favourite actors:
“Salma Hayek and Gerard Butler (both not for their acting skills!). Actors Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman (for their acting skills!). If I could meet any actor it would be Sylvester Stallone. I really admire him. Here’s an actor who, despite Hollywood dismissing him, keeps making movies on his own terms that still make money at the box office. His Expendables series took washed-up action heroes and troubled actors that Hollywood has forgotten (like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Mel Gibson, Jean Claude Van Damme, to name just a few) and brought them together and actually revived some of their careers!”
7. Favourite book (or magazine):
“I Robot, by Isaac Asimov. His book began my fascination with robots and inspired me to start my tin robot collection.”
8. Favourite time of year:
“Summer.”
9. Favourite piece of clothing:
“My distressed hoody that I picked up in San Diego.”
10. Favourite type of vacation:
“A cottage on the lake.”
