The digital medium has turned the marketing industry on its head and created online channels that did not exist less than ten years ago. It has caused marketers to shift budgets from traditional to digital channels, creating the ability to reach and personalize services and offerings to customers like never before. It is an exciting time to be in the business!
In this ever changing marketplace DNA continues to evolve in order to anticipate and meet the demands of our clients. However, with evolution happening at such a rapid pace, I sometimes can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic for how things used to be: the old days of paste-up and dylux proofs – when everything wasn’t so “instant”.
I especially loved (and still love) the artistry of vintage signs that defined an era. They’ve become a lost art that should be preserved. As an amateur photographer, it gives me great joy to photograph these wonderfully weathered works of art, and I’m thrilled when I see cities protect and preserve these beauties.
