No one’s really sure what the roots for Valentine’s Day are but, unlike Thanksgiving and Halloween, it’s a global tradition, with versions celebrated around the world.
This year, in Ontario at least, Valentine’s Day falls on the Family Day weekend, which means you might be lucky enough to have Monday off to recover either from overindulging in chocolate or champagne, or both. Or how about a nice dinner out? Sound nice? Well, we’d like to help with that!
We’ve come up with a little quiz on how countries around the world celebrate Valentine’s Day.
How to enter: If you want a chance to win a dinner for two at one of DNA’s favourite Toronto restaurants, provide the answers to the quiz (psst! Links to the answers are in each of the questions) on our Facebook page.
Answer them all correctly and you’ll be entered in the draw. And, because we heart you, we’ll even give you an extra entry if you share this post on Facebook or Twitter! The winner will be announced in our blog later in the month. Good luck!
